What a lovely wildflower!
It has taken me over 8 months to get closer to identifying a plant on my property. The yellow loosestrife looks like its a match ! It was growing amongst trillium. I found them while blackberry picking.
Glad you find the site helpful!

Saw a beautiful specimen of whorled loosestrife while hiking at the Upper Piney Falls state natural area in TN yesterday! I’ve never seen anything like it and luckily a friend from virginia helped me figure out what it was. This site confirmed my findings and taught me more about them. Thanks!
