    I was in West Virginia near Oakland MD. going up the side of a mountain and saw these beautiful red flowers. Not knowing what they were I did cut one off,came home and searched the internet. They look exactly like the crimson beebalm and the aroma is wonderful. I can see why they would attract butterflies and hummers

    I was on Spruce Knob Mountain in West Virginia and saw these flowers….I also took several pictures. very beautiful.
