Virginia Buttonweed, a native species, has been added to the USWildflowers database (08/01/2010.)  Scientific name is Diodia virginiana.  This plant also is known by the common name Large Buttonweed.  Photo below was taken in Walker County, Ga, on 07/2/2004.
