Skunk Meadow Rue – Thalictrum revolutum – Added to USWildflowers’ Database

Skunk Meadow Rue, a native species, has been added to the USWildflowers database (06/15/2013.) Scientific name is Thalictrum revolutum.  It is also known by the common names Waxyleaf Meadowrue, and Purple Meadow-rue (note that Thalictrum dasycarpum is another species known by the common name “Purple Meadow-rue”.)  Photo below was taken in Walker County, GA on June 13, 2013.  Go to the Skunk Meadow Rue detail page for more photos and information.

Western Meadow Rue – Thalictrum occidentale – Added to USWildflowers’ Database

Western Meadow Rue, a native species, has been added to the USWildflowers database (12/03/2011.) Scientific name is Thalictrum occidentale.  Photo below was taken near Cuprum in Adams County, ID, on June 18, 2011.   While I haven’t run across alternate common names, Meadow Rue is sometimes spelled Meadowrue or Meadow-rue.  Go to the Western Meadow Rue detail page for more photos and information.
