Add Idaho to the list of states where rattlesnake weed is found. I have it all over my backyard.

For months I’ve been pulling this yellow weed out of my yard only to have ten pop up in its place. I wont even let mom mow this invasive species until I pull the yellow flowers up by the root, as much as she loves to mow. I’ve been cleaning Mount Pipe out of the road to my back yard and kept finding the white bulbous roots in Nacogdoches TX. Curious about the roots I looked them up and found a name. Thanks for having solid information about them being used in herbal medicine to ease the symptoms of venomous snakes. I’ll get more info before I pull any more yellow weeds called rattlesnake.
