    Hi Gerry,
I have tried to germinate several species of sensitive plant but the seed either do not sprout or die within a month. I suspect there are complicated dormancy requirements for these plants. Usually legumes are easy from seed but not these.
    Any ideas on germination?

When I was in school in Dallas, Texas, my sister and I walked to school next to a field. These tint sweet smelling flowers grew in the spring. I also found them in the parking lot of Night Hawk Resturant off the Interstate 35.
