Posted on February 21st, 2009 No commentsI was able to hold off for five days before I succumbed to the call of The Pocket. This time I enjoyed the company of Joseph, who was a great companion, and seemed to really enjoy seeing and learning a bit about the wildflowers, as well as the opportunity to try to track down and capture some water striders. It was cold, but Sam agreed to run down to The Pocket with me so I wouldn’t miss something at its early stages. I’m really hoping to get photos of most of the wildflowers at The Pocket at several different stages in their development. It had only been a few days, but things had changed. Nice day on Saturday, so Cindy, Ethan, Sydney and I decided to head down to The Pocket, famous wildflower location at the foot of Pigeon Mountain.
