Thanks, Ian. I have updated USWildflowers’ information on Tradescantia subaspera to note the doubt about its presence there.

        Gerry & Ian,
I reside in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. This specific species, “Tradescantia subaspera (ZigZag)”, is thriving in my backyard. If there is a way to upload a photo of its presence, I would be more than happy to show visual proof.

There are spiderwort plants along the road where I live just outside Claremore, Oklahoma, but Oklahoma is not listed as somewhere they are found.

While Zigzag Spiderwort (Tradescantia subaspera) is not “known” in Oklahoma, there are 7 other species of Tradescantia listed in Biota of North America as being found in the state.
