Shaggy Rosinweed, a native species, has been added to the USWildflowers database (07/07/2010.)  Scientific name is Silphium mohrii.  This plant also is known by the common name Mohr’s Rosinweed.  Photo below was taken in Dade County, Ga, on 07/05/2010.
